Emily's Reasons Why Not

Emily's Reasons Why Not is for everyone who has ever wasted her time chasing down the wrong guy for the right reasons, wondering "why" and "when is it going to happen for me?" With the edge of an insider, but the heart of a dreamer, the disarming and unflappable Emily meshes her views on the entertainment industry she works in, the men she's dated, the therapy sessions she mulled over, and "the one" she knows is out there for every woman ... including herself.

You’ll never regret putting yourself first when it means living in peace, walking in purpose, and standing in your power.

Coach Carrie

Hi, I'm Coach Carrie

I’ve spent decades as a fixer, navigating narratives, steadying chaos, solving problems, and guiding leaders through pivotal moments. Along the way, I learned that in the middle of everyone else’s story, it’s easy to lose your own.

Now, my work blends practical tools, science-based strategies, and lived experience to help you find your power, purpose and peace

and live it unapologetically.

Whether you’re leading a team, running a business, or trying to stay above water as the CEO of your home, we start from the inside out, shifting the mic and the stories you tell yourself to create the life you deserve.

When your communication changes, so does your clarity, your connection, and your confidence. And life? It stops feeling like a performance and starts feeling like your truth.

Professional Biography

Carrie G. Cecil is a nationally respected voice in brand strategy, strategic communications, and narrative leadership. For over two decades, she has been trusted by Fortune 100 companies, elite sports organizations, top legal teams, political figures, and influential C-suite leaders.

But Carrie’s voice also lives on the page and behind the mic.

As an author, screenwriter, and content creator, she’s published both fiction and nonfiction works.

  • Emily's Reasons Why Not (Harper Collins)

    • ABC Television (Executive Producer)

  • One Sunday (Simon & Schuster)

  • Dancing For The Devil (Simon & Schuster)

  • Charli & Wilbur A Dancing Dog's Dream (Lighthouse)

She also contributed to the New York Times bestseller The Enlightened Bracketologist, and her screenwriting work includes projects developed with Lifetime Television and Broken Road Productions.

She is gearing up to host the highly anticipated, bold, human-centered podcast:

  • The Mic Shift, where leaders, experts, and change makers share their mic-shift moments.

Whether she’s helping a CEO navigate politics, guide a coach through a crisis, or teach a team to find its collective voice, Carrie leads with curiosity, clarity, and compassion. Her mission is simple: to help others lead with purpose, embrace their

power, and unapologetically claim their personal and professional peace.
